Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is a labor union of over two million members in healthcare, the public sector, and property services. SEIU is dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families to create a more just and humane society and future.
SEIU 2015 is the largest labor union in California, the largest Long-Term Care union in the United States, and the largest local union in SEIU. SEIU 2015 represents more than half a million Long-Term Care workers from home care, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living centers. SEIU 2015 launched numerous static ad campaigns to promote its mission and raise awareness for long-term care workers and their families. In a partnership with UDW, a social justice union in California that represents home- and family-child care workers, SEIU 2015 sought to create a social media campaign toolkit for their Our Care Counts Campaign.
SEIU HCMI is a Healthcare labor union in Michigan representing over 16,000 healthcare workers. SEIU HCMI aimed to create educational print materials for local healthcare workers to know their rights when organizing. Additionally, they created leaflets to encourage support of workers facing unfair conditions in their workplaces, as well as voting mailers for union members.
